Overview

INTIRA is a productivity and personal finance app designed to help you manage tasks, track debt payoff, and focus on what matters. Your privacy is fundamental to how INTIRA is built.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. INTIRA stores your tasks, sprints, blocks, debts, focus sessions, behavioral patterns, and settings locally on your iPhone. If you are signed into iCloud, this data is also synced to your personal, private iCloud account so it stays up to date across your devices and can be restored if you reinstall the app or set up a new device. INTIRA does not operate its own servers and does not transmit your data to third parties.

Cloud Sync (iCloud)

INTIRA uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data through your private iCloud database. Your data is stored in your own iCloud account, tied to your Apple ID — not on servers operated by INTIRA Labs. INTIRA Labs cannot access, read, or view the contents of your private iCloud data; only you, through your signed-in devices, can access it. Apple stores and processes this data as part of iCloud, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Sync is automatic when you are signed into iCloud; if you are not signed in, INTIRA works fully offline using on-device storage only. Your data is never shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any third party.

Behavioral Intelligence

INTIRA tracks how you use the app to improve its recommendations over time. This includes which types of tasks you complete fastest, which days of the week you're most productive, and how you rate your energy after sprints. This behavioral data is stored on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, synced through your private iCloud account along with the rest of your data. It is never transmitted to INTIRA Labs or any third party. This data is used solely to personalize task scoring, sprint recommendations, and effort estimates within the app.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or account information. We do not collect task titles, descriptions, or notes. We do not collect debt names, balances, or financial information. We do not collect voice recordings or speech transcripts. We do not track your location. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels. We do not sell or share your personal data, and we do not transmit it to INTIRA Labs' servers or any third party — your data syncs only to your own private iCloud account, as described under "Cloud Sync" above.

Speech Recognition

INTIRA offers an optional voice capture feature that uses Apple's on-device Speech framework to convert speech to text. When on-device recognition is available, audio is processed entirely on your device and never leaves your iPhone. When on-device recognition is not available, Apple may process audio on their servers subject to Apple's own privacy policy. INTIRA does not store, transmit, or retain any audio recordings.

Microphone Access

INTIRA requests microphone access solely for the voice capture feature. The microphone is only active when you explicitly tap the microphone button. Audio is used exclusively for real-time speech-to-text conversion and is not recorded or stored.

In-App Purchases

INTIRA offers optional Pro subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. INTIRA does not collect or store payment information, credit card numbers, or Apple ID credentials.

Widgets and Live Activities

INTIRA may display task and sprint information on your Home Screen via widgets and Lock Screen via Live Activities. This data is read from a shared on-device container and is never transmitted externally.

Analytics

INTIRA uses Apple App Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as which features are used and how often. This data is provided by Apple and contains no personally identifiable information. We may add additional analytics tools in the future; this policy will be updated if we do. You can limit app analytics by adjusting your device's privacy settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Factory Reset" option in Settings. This permanently removes all tasks, sprints, blocks, debts, focus history, and settings. Because your data syncs to your private iCloud account, note that uninstalling the app does not by itself erase your iCloud copy — that copy remains so your data can be restored when you reinstall or set up a new device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, use "Factory Reset" before uninstalling, or remove INTIRA's data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings.

Children's Privacy

INTIRA does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation, and any data syncs only to the user's own private iCloud account — never to servers operated by INTIRA Labs.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of INTIRA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
