Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how INTIRA Labs LLC handles information through the INTIRA mobile application (the “App”) and the INTIRA website at intira.io (the “Website”). INTIRA is designed so that the personal content you create in the App — including tasks, notes, blocks, debt information, expenses, focus history, and voice-transcribed text — stays on your device and, when iCloud sync is enabled, in your private iCloud account. INTIRA Labs does not operate a server that stores or lets us read that App content.
The App sends a limited set of pseudonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase. The Website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page visits and product-interest interactions. Neither implementation is configured to send the personal content you enter into INTIRA, and the Website analytics implementation does not intentionally send your contact-form name, email address, message, or mailing-list email address to Google Analytics. The Website separately collects information you choose to submit through the contact form and email signup form, as described below.
App Data Storage
Your App content is stored on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account. INTIRA stores tasks, sprints, blocks, debts, expenses, focus sessions, usage counters, and settings locally on your iPhone. If you are signed into iCloud and sync is enabled, this information is also stored through Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud database so it can sync across your devices and be restored after reinstalling the App or setting up a new device.
INTIRA Labs does not operate its own cloud database for this content and cannot use an INTIRA account to access it because INTIRA does not require an account.
iCloud and CloudKit
INTIRA uses Apple's CloudKit to sync data through your private iCloud database. That data is associated with your Apple ID and processed by Apple as part of iCloud. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and applicable Apple terms. If you are not signed into iCloud or do not use sync, INTIRA continues to work using on-device storage.
Usage Counters on Your Device
To help the Signal Engine remain relevant to how you work, INTIRA may keep local counters such as how many tasks you complete in categories, approximate task durations, days of the week on which tasks are completed, and the number of completed Sprints. These counters do not contain task titles or note content. Like other App data, they remain on your device and, if sync is enabled, in your private iCloud account.
App Analytics
INTIRA uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and improve the product. We record a fixed set of product events, such as completing onboarding, creating or completing a task, starting or completing a Sprint, using Voice Capture, logging a debt payment, viewing a paywall, starting a trial, or completing a purchase.
Analytics events do not include the content you enter into INTIRA. We do not send task titles, notes, block text, debt names, balances, expense amounts, voice recordings, or speech transcripts to Firebase. Event parameters are limited to counts and fixed product categories, such as whether a task was classified as Signal or Noise or how many tasks were included in a completed Sprint.
Google Analytics for Firebase automatically assigns an app-instance identifier to an installation and may process standard technical information such as device model, operating-system version, App version, and general geographic information derived from network information. Google processes this information as a service provider under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy.
INTIRA does not use Firebase analytics to track you across unrelated apps or websites, does not display third-party advertising, and does not sell your App analytics data.
Apple App Analytics
Apple may provide INTIRA Labs with aggregated App Store and App Analytics information when users have elected to share analytics with developers. You can manage Apple analytics sharing under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your iPhone.
What the App Does Not Collect
The App does not require your name, email address, or a separate INTIRA account. INTIRA Labs does not collect task titles, descriptions, notes, block text, debt names, balances, expense amounts, voice recordings, or speech transcripts through its analytics. INTIRA does not request or collect your precise location. Firebase may derive a general region from network information for analytics purposes. INTIRA does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Voice Capture and Speech Recognition
INTIRA's optional Voice Capture feature uses Apple's Speech framework to convert speech to text. Where supported, speech recognition may occur on-device. In circumstances where Apple processes speech on its servers, that processing is governed by Apple's privacy practices. INTIRA Labs does not store or retain the audio recording on its own servers, and the resulting text is saved only as App content you choose to keep.
Microphone Access
INTIRA requests microphone permission only when needed for Voice Capture. The microphone is active only while the feature is recording. INTIRA Labs does not operate a server that stores those recordings.
Calendar Access
INTIRA includes an optional “Sync to Calendar” feature. When enabled, iOS requests calendar permission and INTIRA can write tasks with due dates to your selected/default calendar. The App may keep the resulting event identifier locally so it can update or remove the event when the task changes. Calendar information is not sent to INTIRA Labs. You can revoke calendar access in iOS Settings at any time.
Notifications
Task and Sprint reminders are scheduled locally on your device. INTIRA does not use a proprietary push-notification server to transmit task content.
In-App Purchases
INTIRA Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles your payment information and Apple ID credentials. INTIRA Labs does not receive your credit-card number. The App may record purchase-, restore-, paywall-, and trial-related analytics events as described in the Analytics section.
Widgets and Live Activities
Widgets and Live Activities may display selected task or Sprint information using Apple-provided on-device/shared-container mechanisms. INTIRA Labs does not operate a server that receives that displayed content.
Website Contact Form
If you contact INTIRA Labs through the Website, we collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. This information is used to respond to your inquiry, provide support, discuss speaking engagements or partnerships, handle media requests, or otherwise communicate with you.
The Website uses Web3Forms to process contact-form submissions and deliver them to INTIRA Labs. Web3Forms acts as a third-party service provider and may process technical request information necessary to operate and secure its service. According to Web3Forms' current privacy policy, form submission data may be retained for up to three years, with shorter periods possible depending on the service plan or earlier deletion. You can review Web3Forms' Privacy Policy.
INTIRA Labs may retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.
Email List and Marketing Communications
If you choose to join the “Stay in the Signal” email list, INTIRA Labs collects the email address you submit so we can send occasional product updates, new-release information, and ideas or news from INTIRA Labs. Joining the list is optional and is separate from using the INTIRA App.
The Website uses Zoho Campaigns to process signup-form submissions, maintain the subscriber list, and send email communications on behalf of INTIRA Labs. Zoho may process your email address and technical information necessary to provide, secure, and measure its email service under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. Zoho Campaigns provides subscription-management and unsubscribe functionality for contacts who join through signup forms. INTIRA Labs does not sell mailing-list subscriber information.
Website Analytics, Cookies, and Advertising
The INTIRA Website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with measurement ID G-6QQX5BERSR to understand Website traffic and how visitors interact with key product and company content. GA4 may collect information such as page views, engagement, browser and device information, referring pages, general geographic information derived from network information, and analytics identifiers or cookies used to distinguish visits and sessions.
INTIRA also records a limited set of Website interaction events, such as interest in pricing, download calls to action, the About page, speaking engagements, partnerships, successful contact-form submissions, and mailing-list signup actions. These events use fixed categories and are not designed to send your name, email address, contact-form message, mailing-list email address, task content, financial information, or other user-entered App content to Google Analytics.
Google processes Website analytics information under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy. The INTIRA Website does not currently display third-party advertising and does not intentionally use Google Analytics data for cross-site behavioral advertising. If our use of analytics or advertising technology materially changes, we will update this Policy as appropriate.
Data Deletion
You can remove App data through INTIRA's Factory Reset feature and through the iCloud data controls available on your Apple devices. Deleting the App by itself may not delete a synced iCloud copy. If you want to remove synced INTIRA data, use the in-App reset/deletion controls and, if needed, review INTIRA's stored data in your iCloud settings.
For Website correspondence or mailing-list information, you may contact privacy@intira.io to request deletion of information INTIRA Labs controls, subject to information we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate recordkeeping purposes. Mailing-list subscribers can also unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Data held by service providers is also subject to their retention and deletion processes.
Children's Privacy
INTIRA is not directed to children under 13, and INTIRA Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App or Website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to INTIRA Labs, contact us so we can address the request.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information that INTIRA Labs controls, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Because INTIRA Labs cannot access the private App content stored on your device or in your private iCloud account, many App-content requests are handled directly through the App and your Apple/iCloud controls. For Website correspondence or analytics-related questions, contact privacy@intira.io.
Security
INTIRA uses platform security controls provided by iOS and iCloud for App content. Website contact and email-signup submissions are transmitted to the applicable service provider over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Service providers such as Apple, Google, Web3Forms, and Zoho may process information in countries other than the one in which you live, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, Website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Material changes may also be surfaced in the App or Website when appropriate.
